How the Dogdex fills up
A breed is collected the moment you solve it, in the daily puzzle or in free play. Lose a round and the breed is marked missed — you've met it, but it doesn't count until you actually solve it. Everything else stays a silhouette with nothing but a letter count to go on.
The collection lives in your browser, alongside your streak. It isn't sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data clears it. The breed guide covers the same dogs in more depth if you'd rather study than hunt.
